Tom Camp, Aging Life Care Professional™ comes to Barlowe & Associates with over 27 years of expertise in human services and behavioral health. Tom’s interest in advocacy and protection for our aging population began while working on his Master’s graduate project.
Tom is a long-term resident of Pinellas County, Florida. and has maintained his passion for ensuring the integrity and dignity of our aging generation. Tom has spent most of his professional career in behavioral health, specializing in addictions and mental-health counseling. He is a client-oriented decision maker with expertise in ethical practices. Successfully coordinating services and systems have been a consistent part of his professional experience.
Tom received his Bachelor’s degree in Rehabilitation Science from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, and his Master’s degree in Community Psychology from Springfield College in Tampa. Tom is recognized by the Florida Certification Board as a Certified Addictions Professional (CAP), and maintains a state-recognized designation as a Mental Health Counselor Intern (IMH).
Tom has been an active volunteer for Suncoast Hospice and assists local seniors through volunteer transportation services. Tom’s blend of his long standing clinical and administrative experience in the counseling field, his familiarity with the resources in Pinellas County and his passion for this work, make him a valuable addition to the Barlowe & Associates team.
